These terms govern your use of Pingy.info. Please read them before using our tools.

1. Acceptance of terms

By accessing or using Pingy.info (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The service

Pingy.info provides free, browser-based network diagnostic tools — including Ping, IP Info, TCP Check, HTTP Check, Redirect Check, DNS Lookup and Dig — that run tests against a host you specify from probe servers in multiple locations. The Service is provided for informational and diagnostic purposes.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and only against hosts you own or are authorised to test. You must not use the Service to:

  • Test hosts you do not own or have no permission to test.
  • Attempt to overwhelm, disrupt, or attack any host or network (including DoS/DDoS).
  • Probe for vulnerabilities or gain unauthorised access to any system.
  • Circumvent rate limits, bans, or other protective controls.
  • Use automated means to overload or scrape the Service at scale.

4. Rate limiting and abuse prevention

We apply rate limits and may automatically block clients that abuse the Service. We may restrict, suspend, or ban access at our discretion to protect the Service and third-party hosts. Attempting to circumvent these controls is prohibited.

5. No warranty

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that results are accurate, complete, timely, or that the Service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Diagnostic results reflect conditions at the moment of the test and should not be relied upon as the sole basis for critical decisions.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pingy.info and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of — or inability to use — the Service.

7. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
